Today was house settlement day. In layman's terms - we signed over the home to the new owners and they, of course, handed over a check. No, we are not homeless. Our boat is our new home. No, we are not liveaboards. We prefer not to be called liveaboards. Most liveaboards rarely leave the marina, or they jump from marina to marina. We, on the other hand, will be avoiding marinas, preferring to be on the hook in some far away gunkhole. Just call us full time cruisers.
Have you ever seriously thought about living your dream? We did and now we are full time cruisers onboard M/V Big Run. Everyday is a new page to be written in our ship's log as we travel to new places and revisit some ol' favorites. Come along and share our experiences and journeys.

You guys are about 18 months ahead of us as full time cruisers. When do you plan to be in Alaska? 2011 or 2012? We anticipate heading north some time after April 2012. It would be nice to communicate directly with you. Please send me an email. THANKS.

Hello Ken
Good to hear from fellow Krogenites! Right now Sharon and I have one plan - we depart from our marina the week of October 4th and head south trying to stay ahead of the frost line. Then in the spring we will head north for the Canadian Maritime on the east coast. Originally our plan was to go back to Alaska sooner rather than later. After our Canadian cruise in 2011, we do not have anything locked in, we are hoping something more on the spontaneous direction will pop up. I would rather not publish my email on the open internet at this time. If you would send another comment to one of our blog entries to include your email, I will receive your email address but will not publish it on the blog.
Great to hear from you
Bob & Sharon
